When the Walk in the Park Goes Wrong: Emergency Response in Our National Parks

The Moccasin Bend Fall Lecture Series is going virtual this year with a unique lineup of speakers and participatory experiences with American Indian artists.

The 2020 series kicks off on Monday, October 12 at 12:00 noon with Chattanooga native Lisa Hendy, Chief Ranger of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Lisa’s 26-year career includes assignments at many of the most visited National Parks and extensive experience with search + rescue, fire, and emergency response events. Guests will have the opportunity to submit questions to Lisa during the talk for live Q and A.
