-- Tales from a century of preservation efforts, from Adoph Ochs in the 1920's to the Moccasin Bend Task Force in the 1980's to the Friends of Moccasin Bend in the 1990's-2000's.
-- The creation of the National Archeological District through a community-led and collaborative, stakeholder-informed effort.
-- 20 years of National Park Service planning to create a roadmap for welcoming visitors and interpreting 12,000 years of history while protecting sacred, culturally sensitive resources.
-- Current threats to Moccasin Bend that impact the 23 American Indian Tribes with ancestral ties to their Moccasin Bend homeland as well as other stakeholders, including the people of the State of Tennessee (the current owners of this public land) and the National Park Service.
-- Q and A from the audience.

Public land decisions - especially land filled with historically significant and culturally sensitive resources - deserve a transparent process with public input and stakeholder involvement. Don't let decisions be made affecting YOUR land without YOUR voice being heard!
