Join Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Outdoor Chattanooga for a free, leisurely-paced bicycle tour through YOUR national park at the Chickamauga Battlefield on Saturday, October 16th. Your guide will be a National Park Service Park Ranger who will bring your ride through the park to life during frequent stops retelling the history of the country’s first preserved battlefield. Outdoor Chattanooga staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide ride support.
Free loaner bicycles are available for riders five feet tall and over at no charge, thanks to sponsorship from National Park Partners and the Friends of Outdoor Chattanooga.

These relaxed rides through your National Park begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center and last approximately 2 hours. Ride distance is typically three to four miles on flat to gently rolling terrain. The rides are considered beginner-friendly and are appropriate for adults, and children ages eight and older when accompanied by an adult. NO training wheels, please. All participants are required to wear helmets during the ride.
