The 14th Annual Moccasin Bend Lecture Series

Each year National Park Partners presents the Moccasin Bend Fall Lecture Series, exclusively sponsored by Greg A. Vital. The Lecture Series brings thought leaders and subject matter experts to share stories and experiences related to National Parks, conservation, history, American Indian culture, and much more.  The 2019 series took place inside the wonderful IMAX Theater in downtown Chattanooga and featured Theresa Pierno (“100 Years of Conservation Advocacy with the NPCA”); Dr. James Pate (“Dragging Canoe and the Chickamauga Cherokees.”); and Dr. Timothy Smith (“The Chickamauga Battlefield and the Civil War Reconciliation Movement.”).
